
Associations provide a secondary way to browse Extremes and Moderations, connecting writers across historical periods through publications, institutions, literary circles, political formations, aesthetic movements, diasporic networks, and intellectual currents. While each volume occupies one primary place in the Catalogue, it may participate in many different Associations.
These poets revise inherited forms through compression, fragmentation, free verse, new myth, urban experience, formal experiment, and changing relations among image, voice, and the modern world.
