ASSOCIATIONS
Associations provide a secondary way to browse Extremes and Moderations, connecting writers across historical periods through publications, institutions, literary circles, political formations, aesthetic movements, diasporic networks, and intellectual currents. While each volume occupies one primary place in the Catalogue, it may participate in many different Associations.
Music and Poetry
Composition, song, musical training, concert life, rhythm, and collaboration give these writers ways to treat the poem as scored sound as well as printed language.
