Olive Percival — Collected Poems

Olive Percival built an independent cultural life out of a clerk’s salary, a small Los Angeles house, an extraordinary garden, and an appetite for beautiful things. She collected books, prints, costumes, dolls, photographs, and ephemera; traveled through Mexico and California; studied birds, flowers, architecture, and childhood; and wrote with the precision of someone who understood that attention could be a form of freedom.
